Mike Venezia is the Author/Illustrator of the well known children's biographical series Getting to Know the World's Greatest Artists and Getting to Know the World's Greatest Composers. Mike came to me wanting a functional web site that reflects his style and creativity. I used his artwork to create a site where fans can learn about Mike and his work, buy his books, ask questions and play a game. The site is informational and kid-friendly. |

Gaelen Billingsley is a Seattle area therapist focusing on interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution and parenting. In starting her own business, Gaelen needed an informational website to display her business philosophy, articles she had written, and contact information, all in her own unique style. The site is simple and well organized, with easy to find information. |

RW Hunker, Jr. of Colorado Aerial Views came to me looking for an inexpensive and attractive way to display his unusual hobby -- aerial photography. The site that I built for him pre-loads his photographs for easy viewing, and makes use of JavaScript to fade from one photo to the next. The navigation is simple for the user, and the Contact form makes getting in touch with RW as easy as the click of a button. |

When my family decided to have a multi-generational reunion, I offered to create a website for the occassion. We've used this site to see who would be attending, view a calendar of events and play an interactive guessing game. I included a form invitees could fill out to indicate their relation in the family, their interests and the dates they would be at the event. The form posts to the site so that everyone can see the responses. |

These days, a professional photographer's most important marketing tool is his website. Sunset Photography needed a website that would display beautiful photographs in a simple, yet compelling design. |
Council for Exceptional Children Washington State Federation
|
 |
 |
The Washington State Federation of the Council for Exceptional Children was a team class project during my Webmaster Certificate program. Our team of four took this non-profit organization's need to have a functional, attractive and easily accessible site into consideration as we designed this web site from top to bottom. Unfortunately, the organization did not have the funding to post the site, so it is available for viewing here under my domain only. |
Seattle Center

 |
The Seattle Center came to us in the midst of a website overhaul. They had decided to redesign it as well as link it to their extensive events database, adding search and browse functionalities for their users. Seattle Center provided the design you see pictured here and, as part of an NSCC class team project, we added SQL database capabilities to their new design. The database-driven site has yet to be implemented, so the included link leads to a development site where the design is in progress by the Seattle Center. |
Car Dealership Statistics

The Car Dealership Database Driven Sales Statistics is a tool that allows dealerships to track their customers with complete control. Users can change personal information, managers can view reports, and permissions levels can be adjusted according to business needs. While this product is not for sale, it is an example of how a database can be manipulated using the Internet, and how a website can be used to interpret and report on information from a database. |
